Vehicle Detail

I bought this bus in 1991 from a dealer in southern california when I retired, to find me a place to retire too. When it was purchased it had about 52,000 miles on it, at 61663 miles I had the power rack and pinion replaced. At 69334 miles the head gaskets where replaced. In 1997 at 86150 she got a new clutch disk, pressure plate, T.O. bearing and pinion ring. When I found my retirement home and registered her in New Mexico in 1999 there was 94281miles on the odometer. Since then I only drive to the van once or twice a month. The van starts right up and drives very well, has no rust and has been garaged for the last 12 years. The interior is clean with no rips, tears or stains on the upholestery. The door panel cover on the drivers side has some tears on the edge where I shut the door before the seat belt retracted. The floor mat on the drivers side has wear the rest of the floor carpeting is fine. There is a few small dents on the drivers side, on the passenger side a bodyshop did a just so so job removing a dent in the rear quarter panel, the paint is a good match so it is not to noticeable. The front has some rock chips. Every thing in the galley works very well. In 1996 in Mexico the van started running very badly, I had been sold leaded gas, a very gifted mexican mechanic repaired the problem by taking a piece of rebar and knocking the stuffing out of the catalitic converter. So if you want to have a quieter ride you will have to replace the converter. The fabric and perimeter seal of the pop top are in good condition with no tears worn spots or stains, the mosqito netting in the front of the pop top has a rip which can be easily repaired easily. The rear bumper is dented. This is not a perfect vehicle, but for her age is very nice , solid and reliable I am selling the van as-is, I welcome anyone liveing close by to take a test drive.
