This is a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am that could be used for parts or be restored. The car has the factory T-Tops. The exterior of the body has surface rust and some minor repairable dents. There is no rust out in the body panels that I have found except for two tiny areas in the tail light panel. The trunk floors are very nice with possibly a couple of pinholes. The floors have several holes in them, the worst being in the right rear foot pan area and under the right rear seat. The hood had a scoop mounted on it and there are several small rivets and hood pin holes to fix. The car was disassembled for restoration and sanded down then left resulting in surface rust outside. The T-Tops are fine. The left spoiler end cap is in great shape and in the trunk. I have the paperwork, it needs an affidavit. The dash, engine, trans, driveshaft, frt seats and console, and gages switches etc are gone. The wiring harness seems to be mostly unhooked and is not all cut up. Again, I believe this was taken apart for restoration and not just stripped out. The disc brake rear end is undisturbed. There is a very recent dual exhaust system similar to flowmaster using the factory dual tips. One header is missing. The last time the car was on the road shows July 2006 by the sticker. This is your perfect low buck project.
