Normal 0 Adventure Wagon conversion enhances original vanagon design with a hard top that provides room to stand up any time, over-the-cab storage, and an extra full-size bed (great for kids). The conversion also includes many expertly crafted, handsome wood (teak) cabinets to maximise storage space, and many fixtures such as stove, fridge & sink. There was never a junk title, the vehicle has always ran fine. New wire/ cap and points Brakes were rebuilt in March 2011 Tires have around 80% tread, but there are small weather cracks There is very little rust on this van, If you were wanting a van to restore for show, this would be the one. Still have the rubber compression gasket. Front windshield need to be replaced the glass is starting to fail. The glass is still in place. On Mar-24-12 at 06:55:58 PDT, seller added the following information: Normal 0 A lot of people have asked if they could drive it far so I had a mechanic check it out and this is what he told me I needed: The compression is between 109 and 125 said it was okay, the charging system is putting out 12.14 volts, said it was okay but will need replacing in the future. Oil changed. Carb was okay but had a flat spot on the accelerator pump, said it was a simple fix. The horn need replacing, the right turn light needs a bulb. Transmission was okay. Muller needs to be replaced He said he wouldn’t be afraid to drive it, but the windshield would need replacing. Thought it was excellent for a 29 year old van, was impressed with very little rust. That’s what I have found.
