Up for sale is our beloved Honda Civic. My wife received this as a graduation present from her family in 2003 and she's been driving it ever since. It's been as dependable as can be. All it's ever needed is a oil, tires, and brakes. We needed a little more space so we just purchased a Honda Fit and don't want to deal with the hassle of having two cars in downtown Chicago, so the Civic has to go. Over the years this car has had it's fair share of bumps and bruises. I've tried to show them all in the pictures. Of particular note is a dent in the front right panel, and the biggest blemish is the area just to the rear of the passenger door. The car got rubbed up against the corner of a brick wall when trying to navigate a tight garage a couple years ago and we decided to fix it ourself rather than pay a shop $1000 to do it. It's acceptable to us but definitely doesn't look new or professional. Be sure to note this area in the pictures. The poor thing got rear ended about a year ago too, but the only damage was to the rear bumper and insurance paid a new one. Other than that, there are the usual little dents and blemishes that you'd expect for a 9 year old city car. All told though it doesn't look too bad. Mechanically, I'd say the car is in very good condition. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it from coast to coast and back again. Everything works as it should. We had the usual high mileage maintenance done in the last year or two, having the timing belt, water pump, etc. replaced. I would imagine this car has many more miles left on it.
