Up for no reserve auction is my wife's LRC ( little red convertible). The Good...Custom wheels, I also have the original alloys that go with it,cheap summer convertible that has been a good car for us. My wife says I have to mention it has a "cute" factor. The bad... I value my 100% feedback and want to be really clear that this car has lots of little issues. The odometer doesn't read right. The previous owner told me it had 85,000 miles on it. I suspect it has many more than that. We have put approximately 6-8000 miles on it each year for two years and the odometer looks the same. The driver door wont open with the key, top has a rip in the bottom seam behind passenger door, paint is full of scuffs and scrapes from a portable garage that launched in a windstorm ( while the Mercury was in it!) It doesn't like to get rained on. Runs rough, smokes and carries on after being out in the rain. We have changed the plug wires, rotor cap, and moved the computer. That was all my mechanic could think of...didn't fix it. This has been my wife's nice day car, not sure I would count on it as a daily driver until the rain thing is figured out. It did just complete a trip to North Carolina...1,100 miles without incident. Car is currently inspected. No shipping, item must be picked up.
