Vehicle Detail
For sale is my 92 4runner. I purchased it almost a year ago, primarily for my fishing trips. I listed this truck about two months ago and unfortunately set the reserve a bit to high and it went unsold. I was really in no rush to get rid of it and did not re list. I am listing this as a no reserve and looking to get rid of it as soon as possible. I've purchased a new truck and don't really have anywhere to keep this. The Bad News- the paint on the hood is peeling and could use a painting soon, there is no rust the clear coat is coming up. The trucks spare tire is flat has been since I bought it and it pulls to the right a little. The ac will need to be recharged and transmission needs to be serviced. Now the GOOD News, I had the valve cover and intake manifold gasket redone as well as the transmission pans gasket, oil changes every three months. The muffler was replaced as was as the battery and all wiper blades. I have in my hand all receipts of work done dated. Theres a 3-ton jack in trunck, the tires still have life on them and there is a $400 avital remote start/ security system installed. The new owner will also get the stereo system amp and box with 2 10"s. The truck passed ny state inspection without any problems .Before pick up I will have truck detailed for you On Mar-18-12 at 18:39:42 PDT, seller added the following information: hello everyone, due to a lot of interest and quite a few questions here is a little more info. I noticed an oil spot in front of my home when i pulled in from a trip. i brought it in to my mechanic and he informed me there was a leak from the valve covers and upon further inspection the intake manifolds gasket was on the way out. He also changed the transmission pan gasket all three perfect. This was in November, truck really hasn't run to much haven't fished much since the fall and seems to strain to shift now. Called the mechanic and he said it needs to be serviced not sure what that means. I have driven the truck the last few days . No lights come up on the dash or anything like that. Truck just seems sluggish. Not sure but perhaps a flush and new transmission screen might do the trick. As far as driving it a long distance I would recommend any one buying it to get a tune up. There are quite a few shops around where i live and could recommend. I forgot to mention that there is also a brand new alternator in it, receipt in hand. the truck can be seen Tues for anyone interested ill send my number in private message. Feel free to ask anything else and thank you everyone for the interest.
