1950 Triumph Trophy T100 (like the Fonze rode). It has a clear California title. It was purchased by myself at the end of a garage estate liquidation. Someone has done a very nice and complete rebuild of the motor, transmission, clutch, magneto and driving parts. The frame front steering section and stamped factory #s are in good condition and have been varified as correct, including the motor #s. The gas tank is correct and has had the bottom cut out and professionally refurbished. All dents taken out. The seat, forks, front wheel (20") is correct with the original Triumph rim #s stamped in it. The forks move like new. The motor turns over with excellent compression and the gearbox/shifting and clutch pull are like a new bike. Magneto has excellent spark and the carburetor is correct for this bike and excellent shape. ...................The following would be needed to complete this bike to original. The 2 into 1 exhaust is missing. Its available through Armours in the UK (@$800.shipped) . The rear frame section that bolts on, is USA made bobber item and not original to perfect restoration. The original rear section is available repro or used, often, on ebay. The rear hub is correct, but the rim size should be 19", it is laced to an 18". .........Looking in the exhaust and intakes, the valves, guides and rebuild all appear new. Exhaust nut threads are great condition. This is the 1950 square head and barrel "Generator" motor. It is a correct Triumph installed factory motor and not drilled or tapped for generator use. The California title reads Vehicle ID Number as 11256N and the motor # as TR53067N . Its registered as a 1950 TRMPH .............also, those in the UK asking if I will crate it.
