Up for sale is a 1955 Ford Fairlane Victoria, 2dr, 272 V8, automatic, 82970 original miles, original 6 volt system and original interior. The car was originally purchased in 1983 from Arizona. The motor was gone through in the mid 80's, painted in 1986 - clear coat. The last thing done, was new chrome bumpers installed in 1996. Then he was diagnosed with cancer and passed away in 1997. The car has not been out in weather, has always been garaged. About 3 to 4 years ago is the last time it's been driven. Nov. 2011, a mechanic came out and got it fired up, put a new coil and battery. So yes, it does run, but is going to need some mechanical attention, like any car that sits. Beautiful paint, interior and chrome couldn't build for this price.
