Bought this car 4 years ago as a learning project for my wife. She did all the body work, cleaned/replaced the interior - i.e. did all the lipstick and rouge. I worked on the mechanical and electrical, but just don't have the time to keep working on the regular repairs and maintenance these cars require and my wife is just done with it. She's realized a project car is work. She's had the experience and is ready to move on. We've done a lot of work to this car, but needs an owner with the time to work on it. Remember this is a used 30 year old car that is not perfect so expect it to be. What has been done: New: Top, Carpet, Steering Wheel, Horn Badge, Exterior Badges, Center Console Cover, Boot Cover & Shifter Knob Radio, Bullet Side Mirrors, Every Gasket on the car, Wiper Blades... Refurbished/Used-but-Clean: Radio Console, Seat Leather, Headlight Rings, Alternator Conversion Kit, Interior Door Panels, Top Latches... Custom Additions: Radio, Speakers in Speaker Boxes on Package Bench, Lap Seat Belt in Package Bench... Things you should know: Horn works ALL lights work (headlights, blinkers, running lights, tail lights, dash lights) due to upgrading to a 90 amp alternator The mirrors have broken and fallen out of the bullet side mirrors in this TX heat There is an oil leak that is causing smoking Car starts right up and runs great but has started having a faint knocking in the engine so it's parked as to not cause any further issues, and haven't taken the time to figure out what it is but these engines are relatively easy to rebuild, and wife has lost interest Wheels' paint removed from the cleaner used and need to be refurbished or replaced Painted by Maaco in 2009 and it has a couple minor paint runs and imperfections Have 1 sun visor (not in great condition), but not installed. Needs at least 1 more. Clock appears to work, but glass is cloudy Tail pipe fell off and needs to be welded back on (1' tip). Rest of exhaust is fine. Overall this is a very nice car, and a joy to drive. It will get you lots of honks and thumbs up from others on the road. All the hard stuff has been done.
