Vehicle Detail

1970 Chevy Nova. 427 Big block freshly built 1 year ago. The engine was a 1973 454 ce (counter or crate engine) ordered from Chevrolet. It was professionally built into a 427 with 4 bolt main block, steel crank, forged pistons (9.0 to 1) , pink rods, crane cam 270h ( mild cam and low compression pistons) (runs on pump gas and very streetable). All the best parts were used in this engine and it runs great. New Holley 750 vac sec carb., aluminum radiator and water pump, new starter and summet hi per. fuel pump. Transmision is turbo-350 with shift kit and a mild 2300 stall converter, again--very mild and streetable. The rear end is a 12 Bolt Posi with 3.55 gears--2300 rpm at 55mph. Has SS emblems but not a SS. New Centerline Convo-pro rims and Mickey Thompson street tires. Interior is in great shape, seats redone, new carpet and headliner, and dash cover. Battery is in trunk. Origional wheels and caps included in sale also, for that stock sleeper look if you like. New brake pads, wheel cylinders, new master cyl. all drum. A few things that are not finished are: Starter may need adjustment sometimes makes noise. Keyswitch wire may have a loose connection, sometimes you have to tap the steering column when turning the start key, only every once in a while, but it always starts. Windshield has a crack in it. All other windows are good. Side window weather stripping(fuzzys) need changing, but I bought new ones and they are included in sale. Paint has a little dusting on hood and trunk, very light.. I dont see rust on the car, only a dime size spot in trunk, only one. Gas guage shows full all of the time, wire or sending unit, and speedometer gear change for speedo to work.. . These are minor problems but I have to list them, Remember, this is a 42 year old antique car and is sold with no warranty as all on E-Bay. The car runs great and is fun to drive, Turns heads everywheres. A fun Big Block Muscle Car.On Mar-12-12 at 18:48:02 PDT, seller added the following information: I was asked questions about the dusting in the paint. It is a little in the hood, a little more on the trunk and front left fender. The paint job looks new other than this, it looks like the paint was done too thin in those areas. Nice enough for cruise night, but I would re-paint the top of the fender and trunk if I were entering judging shows with the car. Or repaint the car if it bothers you. Also asked about the exhaust.--- Headman Headers, Flowmaster exhaust. Also, the tach is a Autometer 5" with shiftlight, the guages are suntune. The floor shift is a B&M rachet shifter. Has Accel Distributer with Hi voltage coil and Accel 8.8 wires. Intake manifold is Edelbrock performer aluminum. On Mar-14-12 at 11:36:30 PDT, seller added the following information: The car is straight, the body is very nice, this is a nice clean car. The exhaust has the race readys welded in so you can uncap the headers if you want. The paint job is about 2 years old. My reserve is low on this car, you are not far from it now. This will be one of the cheapest selling Big Block muscle cars on here. Wife says 1 toy has to go, so its this car. The car has been stored in a climate controled garage. The reserve is low so you can finish fixing the small things listed above and have a very nice car. I have $15,000 in the car now, the reserve is much much lower than that, my loss is your gain. Any more questions, just ask. On Mar-16-12 at 12:40:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Ok I posted some new pics. As you can see, the floor pans, the frame, inside door jambs are free of rust. This Is a straight clean 1970 big block Chevy. The previous owner told me that this paint job was done at Fact-o-bake, and it wasnt the best paintjob. Most of the paint is new looking on the car, but, The top of the drivers side fender has fading paint, a little on the hood, and a little on the trunk. I tried to get that in the picture of down the hood. It does not really show in the pics. It is not noticable unless you are looking for it being near the car, and its a shame that the paint is not perfect on this car because the body is so nice. Looking down the sides of this car shows no bodywork, this car came with the origional wheels on it when I got it. No radio was ever put in this car, it is a radio delete. It is adult owned and taken care of. I just did not get to fixing all of the small details that I listed above, because I have 3 kids, and not alot of free time. I have the ignition key, and the trunk key, but I dont have the door key, I am including a new set of door locks and keys I bought but did not put on. I am also including in the sale a new set of SS stripes that I bought and never put on the car. And the 1970 Louisiana license plate I got the car with, in perfect condition. goes with the car. Look at the picture of the spare tire in the trunk, that is one of the 4 origional wheels included in this sale. I liked the look of Centerline Convo Pro wheels and that is why I bought them for the car 6 months ago, with the mickey thompson tires too, I just like that hot rod muscle car look. But the other wheels will be in the trunk for you to have that origional look.
