History of the bike:I bought this bike from the original owner in March 2011. He bought the bike for his son to ride with him on his XR650R. The CRF is in overall good condition. I didn’t do much to this bike since I have owned it. I bought it for my wife to learn to ride but she never really got into it. The plastics and seat are in overall fair condition. They do have the normal scratches and marks so please refer to the pictures to see the exterior condition. The bike is all original (except for light kit and stator rewind) and has not had any major work done on it. I intended to get the bike registered but never got around to it. It can be title and registered in Nevada as a street legal motorcycle. It will need DOT approved tires and the light kit installed but shouldn't need anything else. I ended up signing the original California title on the back when I went to the DMV. I thought that I could get a new title for the bike but the DMV would not issue a new title for the bike unless I completed an official off road conversion and applied for registration. I have the original title with my signature and information on the back (pictures of title on the link below). I can provide you with the title and a bill of sale. I am also happy to help assist in the future if you need me to do anything with the title since my name is on it. Just to make it clear the title is signed by me and I don't think that I can sign it directly over to you. The bike runs well and starts very easily. I would be happy to assist in the future getting the motorcycle titled in my name in Nevada after the sale and then immediately transfer it back to you. It looks like it should cost about $20.00 to get the title in the future.Known Problems: One screw is missing from the rear plastic fender.The end piece of the clutch lever broke off.The throttle is just a little sticky. Transport, Shipping and Storage:I can drop the bike off at a local facility (Las Vegas area) for shipping or hold it for shipping if you want to have it picked up.I will keep the bike stored in my garage for up to 4 weeks at no charge if you cannot come immediately after the end of the auction to pick it up.The buyer is responsible for any transport or shipping.
