For those who may not be quite as familiar, a quick history lesson: 1993 was the final year of production for the very rare and highly sought after Allante, and the ONLY year the Allante was available with the legendary Cadillac Northstar V8 engine. This engine produced 295 horsepower in 1993 (as compared to 170-200 HP in previous Allante V8 engines). The Allante's body was designed and built in Italy by renowned coachbuilder Pininfarina (of Ferrari fame) and then flown on specially equipped 747s to Detroit to be mated to the chassis for final assembly. Only 21,430 Allantes were ever built from 1987-93, and only 4,670 were equipped with the Northstar Engine (Only 1,091 were ever painted in Pearl Red paint code 86U, making this particular example a very rare find!)
