Vehicle Detail

I have had this Range Rover for several years. It has been used primarily as an accessory vehicle. I think I have maybe put about 3k miles on it. The odometer now shows 80,265 but there is a sticker placed on the door which states that the odometer was replaced on 1/16/98 at 66,969 miles. Since I've owned it, over the years, I've put new tires on it, replaced the A/C compressor and associated equipment, replaced the serpentine belt, did a complete tuneup, replaced the valve cover gaskets and emission equipment, put in a new headliner, new tie rods and other front end parts, new brake calipers and discs. In Dec. of 2011, under a safety recall, I had the fuel tank replaced, and at the same time had a new fuel pump and filter installed, as well as some hoses. Plus some stuff I'm sure I've forgotten. Of course, it does have some quirks in the electrical. For example, the driver seat adjustment operates the side view mirror. The latch on the driver door has to be pressed a certain way to open it. When I was at the dealership I got the code for making a new key and have two blanks (a repair shop lost the original key) but the key place I took those to said I had to have the "bitting" code for their software. I also have a locking roof rack and the RR side steps, not installed, which will go along with the vehicle if it sells. I have the wood paneled piece which goes around the shifter, which I had taken off to have refinished, but got back recently, after a couple of years, never having been done. The leather of the front seats has cracked some, but they're not split. The carpet is in good condition, a bit sun-faded, and I have the carpet mats and heavy duty rubber mats front and rear. There is no broken glass. I think one power window doesn't work. The radio and CD changer (original 6-disc) work, but the CD changer doesn't like cold weather. I don't think there is any rust on the vehicle but some clear coat is flaking off. If you want to talk to me about it any further I (Bill) can be reached at 910 988-3711. I have the vehicle for sale locally and reserve the right to remove it from ebay if it sells. It is currently licensed and registered. It is, of course, being sold "as is." It can be test driven. And it can be driven away to anywhere you want to go. I've always used premium gas.
