***1956 CHEVROLET BEL AIR HARDTOP*** This is a 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop. This car has been in storage for several years and for the first time, is being offered for sale! The driveline is a great running small block (pad numbers are VO929TA) backed by a muncie 4 speed transmission with a hurst shifter. The car also has the original style rear end and American racing wheels and Good-Year tires. This is a smooth running and shifting car that will put a smile on your face as you speed through the gears. The paint looks very nice with a deep shine and is local show quality (not ISCA standards). The chrome and bright work is very good and straight with the exception of the bumpers that could use replating for show purposes. The interior is in good condition with no holes or tears. All of the windows function properly with 'like new' glass throughout. The body seems to be in very good condition and a lot better than most underneath.
