1967 Camaro Barn Find Up for bid is a really nice super solid 1967Camaro.. This car has been off the road and in the garage since 1981. The gentleman that I got the car from has owned it since 1978. The car has an old lacquer paint job that was done in the early 70s and needs to be re-painted. It also has some fender flares that are pretty common for back in the day and they actually seem to have been done pretty well. The doors are super tight and close with ease. The floors are solid as a rock. The trunk has a small hole in it and it looks like the seam sealer around the rear wheelhouse is missing. Other than that , the trunk is super solid. The doors , fenders and quarters are also rust free. The previous owner swapped out the stock front seats for a pair of 1969 buckets because he wanted the headrests and they are also in excellent condition. He did that back in the late 70s. The headliner has a small hole and could stand to be re-stitched in an area over top of the passenger side front seat. The dash pad has no cracks and is super nice. The door panels are also in good shape, but the handles were swapped out for the chrome and wood type from the 70s. The motor is a 1963 Impala 283 with what I believe are fuelie heads. The trans is a turbo 350 automatic. The wheels and tires are old school Crager SSTs with original bias ply tires. The tires hold air, But are not roadworthy. The previous owner also installed a steel GM cowl hood back in the late 70s. As you can see from the pictures, the body panels all line up exceptionally well and the car is straight. There are a handful of parts that come with the car. It comes with a package tray, new seat belts, wheel cylinders, brake pads , a new lock for the glove box and I think thats it. The original protecto plate and manual also come with the car. The odometer is showing 30k miles And could very well be original, but I can't say for sure. The only reason I say that is because the pedals show very little wear and appear to be original. Call with any questions.
