You're looking at a 1974 Jensen Healey that has been converted to a Chevy powertrain. This was my father's race car back in the 1980's. As you can see in the photos alone, it requires COMPLETE restoration/reconstruction. Engine and transmission are out of the car. It has not been on the road since 1989. It has been kept garaged for the past 15 years, but prior to that it was stored outside. To be up front, everything about this car will need to be redone, make no mistakes about it. If you are still interested, here are some details as I know them. The engine is a 350 Chevrolet casting number 8970010, four bolt mains, forged pistons (I believe 11:1), forged crank, Crane cam (I do not know lift or duration), all iron block and heads. Transmission is aTH350 with shift kit, no converter. I don't know much about the rear end, other than the gears, 4.11, and it is limited slip. My guess is 8.5 ring gear. Once again, please, this car will require a lot of time and money. I cannot stress that enough. If you have a Jensen Healey it might make a fair parts car. Car ran mid-12's in the quarter back in the 80's with no power adds, just motor. Never really reached it's full potential, my father was not an engine builder.
