Vehicle Detail
1973 Buick Electra 225 2 Door Hardtop powered by a 455 V-8 and Automatic Transmission Must See! This is not your father's Oldsmobile but it is your grandfather's Buick! This Buick was recently acquired, so I can only tell you what I have observed in the time that I have driven and owned it. I was told by the previous owner that the car was parked in their Grandfather's Garage for quite a few years and rarely driven . While we are in NE Ohio, I doubt the 47,360 believed original miles, were ever driven in our salt and snow. The undercarriage sports original rust-less brake lines. Come and see - you will not be disappointed. Please contact me if you have any questions. Exterior: Body is in excellent condition, no signs of accident damage. Paint is original and has usual small scratches and chips expected on a vehicle almost 40 years of age. Needs a good waxing and detailing. Pictures will identify some of the minor blemishes. There are couple pictured issues in the side moldings. Door jams, rockers, and lower fender panels are all unbelievably solid and rust free. Headlight and Taillight Surrounds have some pitting. Bumpers are both straight with light pitting. Front Bumper Rubber on outside edges have some separation. Tires are very serviceable. We have the rear trunk lock cover. Interior: Is in extremely nice condition over all. Headliner looks very nice with no snags. No rips in vinyl upholstery except a crack line on the side of the driver seat, 2 small snags and a hidden separation of driver seat that has been taped beneath the seat back. Carpet is faded on bottom of door panels and on top of transmission tunnel. Trunk cargo area is shown in one of the pictures and is quite nice. Complete spare tire and jack accessories. Mechanical: Runs, Rides, and drives well. The 455's carburetor was just rebuilt and a new A/C Delco Master Cylinder was just replaced - brakes are working fine. Automatic transmission shifts and operates well. Has small power steering leak at pump. No Warranty: Vehicle is sold as-is.
