Vehicle Detail
I love this car, but unfortunately I need something bigger... So here's my 2004 A4 1.8T USP Avant, Tiptronic. It currently has 85K miles. Most of the travel I've done in the car is from NYC to my house in the Catskills. The car is used mostly on weekends, and has not been a commuter car. I live and work in Manhattan so I use the subway. I am the second owner and have had it since November 2007. It was under CPO warranty until March of 2010. I've seen the work done by the Audi dealer in Nor Cal where the car originally came from - it included only scheduled maintenance and rear brake pads/rotors replacement. I have documented paperwork for every maintenance and repair item since I got it at 40K miles in 2007. I have an Excel spreadsheet that I can email to prospective buyers and a folder with receipts. I also have done an oil analysis on every single oil change through Blackstone labs and will be happy to email the PDFs to prospective buyers as well. Just last week I had the car inspected by TyrolSport - a very respected independent VAG shop. They installed a new secondary O2 sensor, rebalanced the wheels/tires and gave me a run down of anything I need to keep an eye on. Those items were: prop shaft seal, 2 front CV boots, and a brake booster vacuum hose. Here is a list of the modifications done to the car: Unitronic Stage 2 Software Borg Warner K04-15 Turbo Genesis 380CC Injectors Gutted OEM Cat Forge TIP TyrolSport SMIC Hyperboost DV (these were done 13 months ago) B7 S4 front & rear brakes Stasis Touring Suspension C5 RS6 19x8et35 Wheels, OEM caps Goodyear GT 245/35/19 All Season tires (8K Miles) Full size spare VMR RS4 Replica Gunmetal with 235/40/18 brand new tire E-Code S4 Bi-Xenon Headlights Yellow Fogs DRL Blind Spot Aspherical Mirrors Blacked-Out Front Grilles S4 Door Blades S4 Cab Seats, heated, supple leather RNS-E HU with OEM XM Radio VMR Vent Boost Gauge MkI TT DSG Steering Wheel with paddle shifters reupholstered by CarsDream OEM Rear Sun Shades All 4 keys (one is a B7 fob), original paperwork, manuals etc. The bad: Exterior: Since the car has been parked on the street in NYC on occasion there are some dings, dents, and scratches on the bumper covers, hood, and doors. I'd rate the exterior at 7 out of 10. Interior: Some peeling on window, etc. switches which is normal with these cars and a small tear on the back of the driver seat which has been repaired but is still somewhat visible. Minor scuffs in other areas, but nothing major. The passenger door speaker cover cracked about 2 years ago (speaker itself was not affected) and I had it replaced. The replacement cover doesn't have the "Bose" logo like the rest.
