Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 73 riviera with 44,000 miles on it (probably 144,000). The previous owner rebuilt the 455.4 engine, who at the time owned a local speed shop. I threw in some upgrades after I bought the car such as, Kenne bell aluminum valve covers, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, Holley 800cfm. carburator, Mallory unilite ignition, MSD. coil+wires and Holley rechargable air filter. The car also had timing chain and sprocket replaced. The transmission was also completly rebuilt back in 2006 and shifts smooth and has pleanty of torque (373-rearend gears installed) at time of rebuild. All of the brake system was replaced except for the power booster, this heavy machine stops better then some new cars I have driven . The exterior which is very clean and straight was originally willowmist green, I had the car repainted with a dupont 2 tone irodecent green gold paint that really pops and always turned heads,(jambs not painted) The interior has bucket seats with shifter on the floor. The back seat has a small tear as does the passenger door armrest, the dashboard has a crack in it but I have a spare, overall very clean for just about 40 years old. There are a few things to list that I never got around to fixing, 1. the car has factory a.c. not working, 2.cruise control not working, 3. smart- trac option not working, and 4. the car had the factory moonroof (extremely rare) installed which probably only needed new tracks, but the last owner decided to install a new vinyl top and headliner instead of fixing it (what a DUMBASS). Also being that this is an eastcoast car the trunkpan has some rust that I wanted to replace, trunk has no spare being it was wired for sound system. Overall this is a clean strong running Boatail that has been garage kept since I bought it and only driven in good weather, I put about 9,000 miles ont the car since engine and transmission were done. You can turn key and drive it away no problem. I have a bunch of spare parts to go with the car including original intake, all the glass except for front windshield, a bunch of trim pieces, dashboard, and a trunklid. I have described this car the best I can, if you have any questions please ask, thanks and good luck.... P.S. Car is being sold as is and I require a $500 deposit within 24 houre of auction end, and full payment within 7 days of selling price.
