Vehicle Detail
mike777 Store At the ripe age of 71 years old, this car is a true survivor and a reminder of what "American Made" is all about. The joinery is amazing to look, the style is distinctive, it seats 9 passengers in 3 rows, it's flathead 6 cylinder runs like a watch at and it is a ball to drive. This car has been in a private collection in Hollywood for at least the last 35 years. It has "worked" in many commercials, TV shows and movies as well as magazine ad's and featured in a calendar. The car looks great, there is no rust and it has been garaged all those years. It isn't perfect, there is some dry rot in the wood here and there and there is one small dent on the rear bumper trim. The interior is clean and in very good shape. Fully restored, in this market, this car should bring $50,000.00-$70,000.00. But that is not what is for sale here. This is a clean, good running, good looking driver that is a pleasure to play with and certainly a car that most anyone would be proud to own. The car is for sale locally, I turned down a $23,000.00 offer and will not sell it for less than $25,000.00. Do some research, learn the value of "Pre-war" woody's and you will see that this is a very fair price. The owner for the last 30 something years passed away last year. He was unable to drive or maintain has cars for the last 5 years or so. This car will be sold with a new battery, fresh gas, fresh oil and lube, a tune up and a complete detail top to bottom. The car hasn't had more than 20 miles put on it in the last five to eight years, but I got it out of the garage 3 weeks ago on a nice warm sunny day, checked all the fluids and took it for a drive around town and enjoyed every minute of it. Please don't bid on this car unless you can really afford it. No trades, no tire kickers.
