I swore at that time I would never sell it, but as has happened to many before me that said the same, I need some extra cash to pay for my wedding this October. So here I am selling my beloved Nova! Please note that this is an SS tribute, NOT a true SS. It has been in storage for a most of its time with me (I only took it out during spring/summer when the weather was nice – this was usually only 3 months if I was lucky in upstate NY). A little bit of minor work can easily take this car to the next level. The previous owner had put a lot of work in to restoring this car (see the list below) – it is not a “trailer queen”, but is a great drivable cruiser car that is perfect for taking to car shows/club events and just driving around the town – you will have a lot of fun driving this car – especially with the nice weather coming up! Here is the list of work the previous owner put into it in 2006. I still have many of the receipts which I will transfer to you if you would like: · New 350 Chevy V8 NAPA long block engine · New cam with a very nice sound (spec sheet in the photos) · New high rise manifold · New headers · New turbo mufflers · New valve cover · Transmission rebuilt with shift kit · New alternator · New oil pan · New glass · New bumpers · New moldings/brightwork/rearview mirrors · New paint job · New tires/wheels Since purchasing the car I have put approximately 1,500 miles of use on it from original pickup date. I have upgraded the front brakes to Classic Performance disc brakes and installed a new Edelbrock carb. Other than that I really didn’t do much but maintain the car and it has mostly been in storage except for the spring/summer. Below is a list of items that I think could use improving on the car – all of these are minor items that could easily be taken care of in a weekend for someone that has time. I would like to be as transparent as possible to all potential buyers! · Quarter size dent on front quarter panel from moving it into storage · One of the front coil springs cracked and needs to be replaced · Very slight drip coming from engine/transmission area, do not know exact source – likely from leaky gasket seal due to sitting in storage · Front wheel missing one of the lug nuts · Driver side door sags slightly · Some dust peaks can be seen in the paint · Quarter panels and small section of the floor have been repaired · Hood hinges could use adjusting, have to push hood down after closing to flush · Inside driver door window crank has circular piece missing on the handle · Headliner has a small hole near the right sun visor above passenger seat Honesty is the best policy and I’d rather see you be happy with your purchase instead of having misaligned expectations – no surprises, I don’t want to waste your or my time.
