Vehicle Detail
I bought this from a guy who inherited the truck from his uncle who bought it new. It is a true Oklahoma truck. I have the original manual, window sticker, sales receipt and protecto plate for when this truck was originally purchased. I also have all the original old parts that came off the truck. Hubcaps (no wheels), breather, etc. If you are looking for a 2 owner all original classic truck, this is it. Outside of the blower motor and a/c, everything works on the truck. Windshield wipers, AM radio, under hood light, etc. I can't find the key to the tool stowage box. Exterior: Good condition, there is a crease on the passenger side front fender that is barely noticeable (see picture) and a spot on the top of the cab where an antenna used to be (again see picture). The only bodywork done (by professional) to the truck is what you see over the rear wheel wells. I do have before pics of the wheel wells for those interested. Interior: Great condition. There are no cracks or signs of wear in the dash, it is in mint condition. The only things that need replacing are the headliner and carpet. I took the headliner out to get the antenna off the truck. I still have the original headliner so you could easily get someone to match the grain. The driver's side seat does have 2 small tears in it (see picture) but the seat itself is in good condition. The interior on/off switch to turn the cargo light broke and I've not replaced (the cargo light itself works – simply plug in a new switch and it's fixed). You can actually see the broken switch hanging in the headliner picture to know what switch I'm talking about. Engine: The motor is the original v8 390 with C6 auto transmission. Power steering and brakes. Typical old car cold startup, but after it's warm it starts every time and runs great. The transmission is slow to go into drive and probably needs to be rebuilt. The carburetor was rebuilt a few months ago. Just last month, the original exhaust manifolds were removed and new headers were installed, along with a new fuel pump and starter. I have the receipts showing the work was done by a professional (minus the header install receipt - can't find it). Wheels/Tires: Brand new MX series wheels and Nitto Terra Grappler tires (265/70/R17) with less than 500 miles on them ($1200 invested). I have the receipt for these as well. Buyer is responsible for any and all costs in connection with taking possesion of the truck. If you have questions, please ask.On Mar-11-12 at 07:46:15 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE - I was showing this to a gentleman yesterday when I realized I didn't put that there is a dime size crack in the windshield. It hasn't split off with any runs, it is literally dime size and in the center of the windshield.
