I will try and answer as many Ebay messages as I can using the Ebay app on my phone, while on the road. Thanks. This very nice 1987 Honda is up for auction. Everything works on this bike, and it shows minimal signs of wear and tear for its age. This bike is 100% stock and factory original. The odometer works, and the mileage is correct. It only has 1,164 miles. We purchased this bike two years ago from someone who had owned it since 1994. It had been sitting in a garage unused. We cleaned it up and tuned it up. This is a fantastic trail bike! We have had some fun rides on this Honda. We also own a couple of older XR200’s, and this XL 250R model is noticeably quicker and gentler to ride. The 250 four stroke single has more grunt than you would expect a classic dual sport bike to have. This bike also makes a good around town bike. We primarily used it to put in the trailer with our race bikes, so that we would have an around town bike while we were out of town. It never misses a beat, and it never let us down. The bike will come with the mirror, and chain guard for the swingarm. These items are pictured below. There is currently not a chain guard on the swingarm. We purchased a new one from Honda at a cost of $97, and we will ship it with the bike. We stopped riding the bike when the guard fell off, and never got around to putting the new one on. We got a new Yamaha WR250 with electric start, and we can’t justify neglecting this classic Honda while we spend all our time on the Yamaha. We really don’t want to see this one go, but sacrifices must be made. We are a licensed dealer in the state of Texas, so Texas residents will be subject to TTL.
