1972 Nova VIN 1X27D2L107412 396/425hp * Buckets * Vintage Air Conditioning This Nova was built at the Van Nays California Chevrolet plant in1972; the letter “L” in the VIN indicates the build plant. The motor is a 396 big block, newly built and machined to over 425hp. The transmission is a turbo 350 with a mild shift kit. Between the cam and the Flowmaster exhaust system, the motor sounds very intimidating, it has a nice deep lope tone. The car runs very strong and the rear tires will bark as it hits a hard first and second gear. The car has a Vintage air conditioning system that works very well. This car is not restored. The paint is driver quality, the car appears to have all its original metal; the car could use paint and few very small areas of bodywork. The floors, trunk, and frame rails are all perfect. The fuel tank is new, the cowl hood is fiberglass. The car appears to have its original bumpers, door handles, locks, marker lights and grill. The door and trunk rubber seals are all new. The interior has new carpet, the headliner, seats, and door panels are in good condition. The dash pad is perfect and appears to be original. The car has power drum brakes and manual steering. The wheels are like new, 14x7 SST Magnums with new BF Goodrich tires. The car comes with a factory steel wheel and a good tire as a spare.
