85,313 Original Miles – Engine Runs (needs tuning)Triumph Racing Green - Clear Title - Very solid, straight car, minimal rust, 100% complete (including original gauges, knobs, trim rings, radio, etc.) with excellent chrome. This was originally a Nevada car until 1978 when it was purchased and driven to MN, then the car was driven for 2 summers before it was taken off the road and stored for 30 years. The floor pans, door jams & pillars, rockers, inner and outer fenders, and trunk are very solid and are basically rust free (See pictures). All doors, hood and trunk open, close and latch nicely. The frame does not show any signs of damage or repair, the paint from the doors back is original and according to the former owner (and because the paint is flaking) both front fenders were re-painted in 1980. The hood, interior, boot and engine compartment are original paint. The car is complete and the chrome is in excellent condition, with almost no pitting!! The hinges, door handles, emblem, bumpers, etc. gauges are ideal for a restoration. The carpet, seat covers and convertible vinyl are damaged from sitting and have been thrown away but the door trim panels as you can see from the pictures are in very good condition. The engine starts and runs, although I would recommend a tune up :) the gas tank is not rusty but will need to be flushed and cleaned before any gas is added. The oil should be changed and I would recommend servicing the brakes—with that, 1/2 a paint job, seat covers and carpet you could be driving to the beach this summer - or strip it down and bring this beauty back to showroom condition.
