Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE For auction is a nearly complete 1973 Aermacchi Harley-Davidson SS 350. The odometer shows just under 5,000 Miles and could well be correct. The engine turns and the gears shift. The brakes operate and the wheels turn! This bike has been in my garage for about fifteen years. I bought it to make into a café bike but got sidetracked on two other bike projects. The bike ran when I bought it but had an electrical melt-down shortly after. I bought a new wiring harness, which will be included with the bike. I never got to tracking down the short that caused the failure. This is a great start to a café project or, with the available-online o.e.m. parts, a total restoration. Missing: Front Fender, Left Side Cover, Broken Left Turn Signal. Probably some other stuff I don’t recognize. The paint on the tank is in very good shape except for to small dots of touch up paint; and these may be able to be sanded and buffed out. The seat upholstery is remarkably good. Some mice ran over the engine and left stains on the carburetor and the cooling fins. Generally, this is a low-mileage, nearly complete rolling project. You can put in a limited amount of work and time and have a great little rat bike or a lot and have a fully restored beauty. There is no reserve beyond the opening bid. If an opening bid is made, the bike will be sold. A non-refundable down-payment of $250 must be made in cash in person or by PayPal within forty eight hours of the close of the auction. The remainder must be made within seven days of the close of the auction in cash or bank check or the bike will be resold. Local pick up is fine with prior arrangement.
