You are bidding on a 1974 Volkswagen Westfalia camper van in very good condition! The good Clear title Rebuilt 2.0L motor with new Weber carb. (sorry, no receipts). Recent timing set and valve adj. Good tires 98% straight, rust free body!!! (There is some surface rust spots on the front floor that does not go all the way through. Is anything ever 100%?) Good original glass (I believe the windshield was replaced) Camper interior with rear seat that folds into a bed, ice box, sink (needs instalation), fold out table with slide out extension (see photo) and lots of cupboard space! Solid, well functioning pop-top (needs canvas) with fold out bed that sleeps 2 Removable walk through center console Extra Type 4 long block (condition unknown) and a box of parts The not so good Someone put a Weber carb on the motor without jetting it, dialing it in or whetever so it runs a bit rough and doesn't hold an idle. The door keys were lost ($50ish will get you new ones) Needs a new windshield seal and instalation Expired tags I have listed everything I could think of but please understand, I am selling this VW for a customer of mine and I don't know it personally. I have had a mechanic come out and look it over and he told me that the motor has good compression, it just needs some adjusting. I did drive it from the owners house to my store. I believe this bus would be a great candidate for a restoration due to the fact that it is so straight and complete and it looks to be in very good shape! I will be flexable with pick up time and date but please understand I don't have the space to store it. All shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.
