Vehicle Detail
1970 Ford Bronco, 302 V8 with 4 speed. This vehicle is from Colorado and is presently in Indiana I have owned it for 20 years and do not have time to use anymore. It runs well, always starts and would go cross county if need no problem. It will go down the highway at 70 mph cruising no problem. I drove it to Indiana from Colorado 2 years ago with no issues. It was used as an offroad 4x4 in Colorado and has had many mechancial upgrades done to the drive train. Currently there is NO hard top or full top, just the bikini. I bought a full soft top from Kayline in Denver, that only lasted a few years. I have not replaced as I only drive in summers and keep it in a garage. It has a back seat also. It could be driven as is right now, or would make a good mild restoration project. Mileage on odometer is NOT accurate and is not represented to be so. I reserve the right to end the auction early at any time. ** Dana 44 with Ford traction loc ** 4.56 gear ratios ** new axles in rear end (Ford 9 inch) ** 4 speed manual transmission in place of original 3 speed ** rebuilt transfer case ** new drive shafts front and rear ** 3 inch suspension lift with 2 inch body lift, riding on 33" BFG all terrain tires ** 302 rebuild, with rv cam, 4 barrel and aluminum manifold, headers and dual exhaust ( exhaust is recent) ** polyurathane bushings on front end ** new Centech wiring kit installed, all lights and turn signals work issues: ** has some rust in the following areas: seams above both rear quarters which is a small line of bubbles running along the seam, front windshield has a rust spot on lower drivers side, tailgate has rust spot on lower driver side, floor pans and bed are GOOD, door pillars have some rust. ALL of this is repairable NOT replacement required in my opinion, I want to disclose everything good and bad to be open on an internet based ad, but this vehicle is NOT a rust pile and is in better shape than most old Broncos I see around. ** needs tie rod ends, steering is loose, it tracks straight has no wobbles, but they need to be done. ** smoke at startup or idle with old oil, valve stem issue, it runs strong starts good, this is an issue that has been present since I had the heads rebuilt, seals were not properly installed, engine is in good condition otherwise, change the oil and the smoke goes away. ** headers are old, they need to be replaced, one is leaking badly because it has burned through Email my ebay account for further pictures or questions. If you are in the Midwest I encourage you to come inspect the Bronco in person. Thanks for looking!
