I am selling a 1990 VW Westfalia. The van is in excellent condition. I have owned the van for 10 years and it has been an excellent vehicle for vacations on the road. When not in use the van has been garage-kept. The van has just under 100,000 miles. It is a 4 cylinder, automatic. In the ten years I have owned the van I have only had to replace the water pump. Other than that I have not had a problem. Since I bought the van I have added many extras including: a new $1600 sound system / cd /mp3 player, a bike rack, after market wheels (the wheels I put on the van are from Gowesty.com. They have the widest wheel base offered by GoWesty which helps stabilize the van in high winds), after market leather VW steering wheel, new propane tank, GoWesty rubber floor mats, etc. The only wear and tear on the van are some minor dents and scratches on the exterior and a crack in the rear bumper. I have a new chrome bumper which is included with the purchase of the van. The van has several small rust spots on the exterior body which were there when I purchased the van and have not worsened in ten years. The interior is in near perfect condition. The van comes with a double burner stove, a refrigerator which is powered by propane, the battery, or can be powered by electricity when you plug in. The faucet on the sink does not work but I have a replacement faucet which just needs to be installed. All in all this van has been an amazing and reliable traveling vehicle. I can email interested parties a copy of the invoice. The mechanic also issued a written statement that he inspected the vehicle and found no major problems. The mechanics inspection statement will be attached to the bill of sale for the buyer. I dont have a scanner so I cannot email this document.
