Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1969 Coronet 440 2-door hardtop. 318/Auto trans... This car is an excellent basis for anything you want it to be, from a weekend warrior all the way up to a Barrett-Jackson quality Super Bee tribute car... THE BAD: The car does need considerable sheet metal work to be done right. I have priced out the items needed and they come out to approximately $3,200.00. The items needed are: Rear quarters Roof skin Rear frame rail (L-H side) Trunk pan Trunk extensions Front floor pan (L-H side) With some work the front L-H fender could probably be saved, but if it was me I would replace it..Just depends on how talented you are at body work. The brakes do not work as a front rubber line is missing, don't know if it is just that or a deeper problem. Trans is also shot, it will move around the yard but that's about it. Windshield is cracked THE GOOD: You have a solid basis here for a great Mopar muscle car built the way you want it. A 1969 440/auto/83/4 rear comes with the car (all rebuildable cores) This is one of the most, if not THE most desirable year for the Coronet 2-door HARDTOP Clear paperwork The 318 in the car runs as smooth as a Timex. There is NO RESERVE on this auction, but I have started the bidding at the bare-minimum that I will let it go for. The only other additional info that I haven't mentioned is that the front bench seat is no longer in the car, and the car has different wheels on it that require the car be trailered/flatbedded. Other than that, the car is as you see it in the pictures. Buyer is responsible for pickup/shipping, though I can store the car for a reasonable amount of time. We can negotiate that. $500 deposit at auction close, the balance to be paid within 7 days of auction end. DO NOT EMAIL ME WITH AN OFFER AND ASK ME TO END THE AUCTION EARLY, I WON'T EVEN RESPOND. Thank You for looking and Good Luck
