Vehicle Detail
1994 Ford Ranger Extended Cab 6cyl. 3.0L(?, check VIN) This has been a great vehicle for our family and business. I purchased this vehicle from an owner who was running heavy highway miles. It is not the original engine! He and it had been in a parking lot rear-ender fender bender(front bumper on the truck), but I couldn't notice it when working on starter, etc. The good: 2 years of city and highway driving and NO Major engine problems.Seats 2 comfortably with room for 2 dogs, or 4 ppl. if your friends are shorter.(flip down back seats face each other.)Free toolbox and bedliner for the 5 ft. bed. Original jack and tire iron included. Individual driver and passenger bench seats with middle console that flips up/down for 3rd front seat.ALL SEATBELTS! Rear sliding glass window. Topper accessible (topper not included).Newer tires, front rotors and brakes, starter.CD player.Original FORD floor mats.Interior is in FAIR shape, no MAJOR problems. This truck has got me back and forth to work, transported our lawn equipment and generally been fun to drive. The wife is getting an ANNV./tax return present(something newer) soon and it's time to let this one go. AND now the BAD: The transmission is leaking fluid and been jumping into gear. (Seals? IDK.) I've had to "give it gas" to get the gear to catch on occasion, and it is VERY noticeable when the fluid is low. The exhaust at the engine has a small hole I can not see and is making it a bit louder than it should be. It burns no oil but needs an oil change, lube, filter, plugs, & tune-up. The windshield is cracked and needs to be replaced, eventually. It is not noticeable in reference to feeling or hearing a draft. But it does allow for "humidity" overnight. This truck starts up every time and once warmed up, can get up and go still! Although TLC is what it needs most, besides a mechanic's hand. I love this truck and if we had a garage it would become a 2nd thought project. But, I have no garage and the wife's old car is nicer, even though she's getting a new one this spring. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions. I do plan to put up more pictures.
