Vehicle Detail

1964 Ford 2 Door Falcon Wagon. Originally from California where it was reserected from an estate sale after sitting in a garage for 10 years. it has a Roof Rack that really sets it off and the seats are in wonderful shape with Long Horn Cattle Motif with Three Speed Manuel Transmission "3 on the tree" and a fold down rear seat. It does have some rust in the Spare Tire Well however the Body is in fantastic shape. Only One Dent and that is in the Rear Quarter Panel by the Tail Light. I purchased the wagon in June of 2011. My Wife and I flew from St. Louis to LA and drove the wagon back on Route 66. What an adventure we had. The car did have some overheating issues. It needed to be flushed 3 times along with a New Radiator and Water Pump. I have some Fantastic Photos along with some Wonderful Memories of the trip. I will be glad to send more photos of the car along The Mother Road. What Have I Done To The Car upon my return home..... I installed a Thermostatically controlled Radiator Fan to keep the engine cool and it works fantastic. No More Overheating!!! Replaced the Valve Cover Gasket (it was leaking a little oil) and painted the Valve Cover! Changed the Oil! New Battery! This Wagon is ready to travel and you can do it with the confidence that it will not over heat! It get's 28 Miles Per Gallon from the 200 Straight Six and I drove it 2,224 miles from Orange County California to St. Louis, MO. It was one of those trips you always dream about and my Wife and I Did It!!! Thanks for looking, who ever buy's this Wagon will really enjoy it! On Feb-20-12 at 06:27:40 PST, seller added the following information: I have had a lot of questions regarding the Falcon Wagon so I thought I would post a few Answers/Comments hear. The car does appear to have been repainted years ago and it looks fine. It does have some chips and scratches but as stated only one small dent. The brakes have been checked and are in fine shape. The suspension is also fine and ALL 5 Tires including the Spare are New and only have 2,2XX miles on them. All fluids are fresh and I just changed the oil and filter after returning from California. The 2-door wagon variant was the lowest production volume of the ’64 Falcons, this one is in Wonderful Shape and is Truly a California Car! The chrome bumpers should be renewed to be perfectly shiny. The other bright-work is very nice. All four orig hubcaps (undamaged) are present as well as the orig fuel filler cover. The tires are new and the car drives, stops, and handles well circa mid-sixties. All the glass is original and near perfect, and the paint has some minor flaws but is otherwise very presentable for a survivor. This is a Rare Survivor and is Truly Unmolested and in Wonderful Shape. You will be Proud to Drive and Show this Wagon!!! Thanks for so much interest!
