I am selling this car for my brother that moved back to Europe, he had to leave in a hurry and left this super nice VW Rabbit behind. I have the original window sticker that shows the car listed for over $18,000, here is a chance for you to buy one for around half of the original retail. I drove the car to work and back for a week and it is in near perfect condition, THIS CAR NEEDS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! If you purchase this car all you will have to do is enjoy your new ride. The tires on the car have less than 5K on them and the car handles great in the snow with the Goodyear all season tires. I have receipts for some recent work that was done on the car, there was an issue with the keyless entry and one of the key fobs failed to work, I ordered a new one to replace it. The car comes with all manuals, 2 keyless entry keys, a valet key. CD am/fm radio is great as are the heated front seats. The spare tire has never been used all jacks and tools are with the car. This is a fun car to drive, it has very good acceleration, tracks straight as an arrow, brakes are perfect stops straight with no fading or pulling. Moonroof and all power windows, AC, Heat, Wipers, Washers all work as they should, The five speed transmission is silky smooth and the shifter is easy to use, no notchy shifting on the Rabbit it is precise with a sporty short throw from gear to gear, There is one small dent on the front left fender and two scratches on the right side of the car, other than that I cannot find anything else that isn't perfect about the car. The rims have almost no curb rash, headlight lens is clear and has very bright driving lights, again this car really needs nothing but a new home. This would be a great car for a college student who's parents are tired of driving them to and from school, very economical on fuel, window sticker shows 17-25 mpg city and 24-36 mpg hwy. with the price of fuel and tuition (ouch) now days it is a big help for a family budget. The base warranty ends at 36,000, (only there for 150 more miles) the SUDZ' Volkswagen dealer in Bloomington IL inspected the car did a recall repair while he was programing the new keys, and gave it a clean bill of health, so I am positive that there is nothing that needs any attention on the car.
