NO RESERVE!* The purpose of this auction is to find a home for this lost car! Hello, This auction is for a 1955 Chevy 2 door sedan rolling shell. This car has had the front and rear floors replaced. The inner rockers and floor braces are solid. The trunk floor is good but there is a line of rust where the trunk pan meets the tail pan. The passenger quarter panel has a partial section held on with screws, it needs to be finished. The rocker panel ahead of this quarter piece was flanged too short so some metal needs to be added. There are a few small bubbles under the primer on the passenger rocker but I believe both outer rockers to be usable. There are some dings in the body here and there but nothing too bad. The fender caps seem solid. The car is just sitting on the frame, there are no bolts or bushings in place. The quarter window regulators are in place, but I don't think the doors have regulators in them. The door bottoms are solid. The interior door and quarter window garnishes are there. There are some small parts that come with the car, door handles, window cranks, and front & rear window stainless. The passenger door striker is missing. I will tie the doors shut for transport. This car would be a great start for a Gasser, hot rod, or pro street car. It has a clear South Dakota title. The car is being stored inside and can remain so until the winning bidder or shipper comes to pick it up. As always this is a No reserve auction so bid to win and have fun.
