1972 Nova VIN 1X27F2L161895 350/425hp * Tremec 5-Speed * Bucket Seats * 12 Bolt Posi No Reserve Auction This Nova was built at the Van Nuys California Chevrolet plant in May of 1972; the letter “L” in the VIN indicates the build plant. The 350ci motor has been built to exceed 425hp; the build includes a Holley 780 CFM double pumper carburetor and a Edelbrock performer RPM intake. The car has new Flowmasters mufflers. The Machine work, parts and labor exceeded 4k to build this motor. The transmission is a Tremec TKO manual 5 speed that hooks up to a new 12 bolt posi rear end, suffix code (CBS) with a 390 gear. The rear suspension is the factory multi leaf setup with aftermarket traction bars. Between the motor, transmission, and rear end there is over $9,500.00 in very desirable performance equipment. This Nova is very fast and was built for terrorizing the street! This car is not restored. Although it retains all its original metal, the car could use paint and few areas of bodywork. The floors, trunk, and frame rails are all factory perfect. The car has its original bumpers, door handles, locks, marker lights, grill, window trim, and door seals. The interior has new carpet and headliner. The rear seat, door panels and dash pad are original. The front seats are aftermarket buckets. An aftermarket gauge package was installed in the dash, water, oil, and tach. I can replace the aftermarket bucket seats with a factory bench seat with new black seat covers to match the rear seat if the buyer has a preference. The added cost would be an additional $750.00. I can also replace the dash bezel to remove the built in gauges. The wheels are painted to match the car, factory 14in steel with dog dish hub caps. The 215/70/14 tires are 3 months old.
