1979 Jeep CJ5 Laredo. I have owned this jeep for over five years and have put a great deal of money in it. Always garage kept, and I have NEVER had in the mud. I have personally taken off just about everything on this jeep and either bought new or rebuilt. Paint: silver anniversary 79' CJ5 amc silver paint code. I painted about two years ago. The paint is chipped on the front grill in a few spots from the Warn winch. Hood hinges & hardware are stainless. Windshield: new, no chips or cracks Engine: Javelin 360 V8, Edelbrock Performer manifold, Edelbrock chrome valve covers,Hedman Jet Hot(silver) coated hedders(spent $500 on), ARP stainless hedder bolts, Competition cam, 3" black side pipes, HEI distributor, R & M wire looms, Taylor Spiro Pro 8mm plug wires, double roller timing chain, Quadrajet 500 cfm carburetor, K&N air filter, Delphi 1000 CCA battery, Mean Green 140 amp high output alternator($400), 3 core radiator, flex electric fan, red polyurethane engine mounts. Rear main oil seal leaks but I have never had to add oil. Fuel: MTS US made 15 gallon polyethylene gas tank, Inline tube stainless steel 3/8" fuel line Transmission: rebuilt T150 manual three speed and new clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing Suspension: 4" Skyjacker lift YJ front leaf springs, front Dynatrac u-bolt flip kit, 4" rear Skyjacker lift rear springs, Skyjacker Hydro shocks, Slickrock spring hangers front & rear, GSP shackles front & rear. 3" Performance Accessories body lift, Energy Suspension polyurethane body lift mounts Transfer case: Dana 20 Rear Axle: rebuilt scout II Dana 44 rear, new bearings, new seals, 3.73 gears, posi-track unit, new brake shoes and hardware, new wheel cylinders Front Axle: rebuilt Dana 30 widetrack front, new bearings, new seals, 3.73 gears, Warn premium manual hubs, new brake lines, new disc brake pads Tires/wheels: 33" Super Swamper TSL's(tread depth to Lincoln's chin on a penny), 15 x 10" chrome wheels Interior: Herculiner in floorboard, gray highback vinyl front seats, gray Tuffy stereo security console with Kenwood CD player, Pioneer TS-TRX 40 model 100 watt rear speakers, gray fabric fold n tumble backseat ( I have never used, missing seat bracket), NCM black billet aluminum gauge cover, full roll cage, Laredo tilt steering column, Grant steering wheel, Laredo tachometer in dash, Laredo clock in dash, Winch: Warn upright 8274, 8000 lb. winch, 150 feet new 5/16" cable, roller fairlead Steering: new power steering sector, new power steering lines Top: new Bestop black bikini top still in box The factory gas gauge does not work. The horn does not work. I did not hook up the heater hoses to firewall after I put motor in since I dont drive much in winter. Like I said, I have been through this entire jeep-ask any questions and I will be glad to answer. I have been building CJ's for over 20 years and this is the cleanest CJ5 that I have ever owned.
