Up for listing is for a 1993 Duramax Hummer H1 wagon. It had approx 25.000 original miles on the original 6.2 liter diesel engine, before a 2001 Duramax / Allison t-1000 update was added. This vehicle shows to be a well taken care of clean vehicle.The paint is in good condition. It has a small dent on the right rocker panel (see Photo), that can easily be repaired or covered with rocker panel covers. The interior is stock and there are no tears in the seats. It is original, and in very good condition. There are a two of screw holes on the dashtop where the previous owner had installed a CB radio. It was removed as i did not need it, a great place for a GPS unit. This is an exceptional buy as the cost of a Duramax conversion starts at $35,000.00, and you provide the Hummer. It has a/c, but does not blow cold. it will need to be flushed and recharged. * Please note: I have no information on the donor vehicle, or its mileage other than the year and engine code. It was the first year this vehicle was offered through a network of dealers. It was offered with a 6.2 liter diesel, that provided 150hp. @ 3600 rpm and 300 ft lbs of torque @2000 rpm. It was also equiped with a 3 speed non-overdrive transmission, with a top speed of about 65mph. 2006 was the final production run of Hummer vehicles. The Alpha, their final and most advanced production, was equiped with the Duramax-Allison combination. They finally got it right. This model has a 2001 Duramax with the output of 300hp @3100 rpm and 520 ft.lb. turque @1800 rpm, an 5 speed Allison T-1000 automatic transmission. Any one who has ever driven a Hummer knows they lack in performance. The difference in performance is amazing on this vehicle !
