1970 Chevelle SS 396 VIN: 136370K119233 Except the motor and transmission the car is original. I bought the car in 1977 and became the third owner. The motor is a 1967 396 / 375 horse block casting number 3902406, the heads are Corvette 427 425 / 435 HP close chamber rectangular port #3919840, crank shaft is forged 1053 steel #6223, pistons are GM L2242 .030 high domes, roller rockers, intake Edelbrock Torker 2, Mickey Thompson valve covers, Holley Carb. Motor has been balanced. Transmission is Turbo 400 short shaft with shift kit and valve body modifications. Rear end is 12 Bolt p trac 3.31 gear. Also I have another 396 complete #3969854 1969-72 396/402 I have 5 original 14” SS spoke wheels, 4 with centers and rings. The car has 15” Rally Wheels on it. The interior I have removed and is in my basement along with the grill and headlight trim. Both engines have been kept covered and in climate controlled space.
