This truck went through an amateur restoration in 2003 in Florida. It has (no rust) and is in extremely solid condition. The paint is not a high grade paint job by any means and was painted a creme color which is still shiny. The original color was green and can still be seen on the firewall and inside of the steel wheels. The body is very good as you will see in the pictures. It does have the deluxe chrome grill and has original period correct wheels, hub caps. The tires are 6,00 x 16: BFG Goodrich Silvertown white walls, are they are in excellent condition. It has a matching spare mounted underneath the rear bumper. The interior is in fabulous condition with a reupholstered bench seat, rubber flooring is excellent. All the interior chrome is in excellent condition as well. All the rubber seals have been replaced. The gauge bezels are all original and very good condition. The gauges and all original to the truck, but the temperature gauge does not work. I have purchased a brand new one but have not installed it as yet, that will come with the truck The engine is a 235 straight 6 cylinder. It has a three-on-the tree- standard transmission. The 235 was professionally rebuilt and currently has 2,976 miles on it since the rebuild. The drive-train is all original with the exception of the 235 motor. I do have the numbers matching 216 motor (in parts) that will go with the vehicle. The underside of the truck is outstanding and has (no rust) The bed has no rust with a steel plate bolted down and a truck mat installed. The mat has soon discoloration. It has the all original 6 volt wiring and operating system. There is a new battery, rebuilt starter, rebuilt generator, rebuilt carburetor, new fuel pump. The glass is in very good shape and has no chips, cracks. All the lights work and there are no turn signals or heat in this truck. They were not ordered when purchased. This is a great running truck. It starts everytime and goes down the road straight and true. The brakes are good, and the transmission shifts smooth and does not grind. There no no rattles or vibrations. I have never driven in the snow or rain, if fact, has only been driven on nice summer days since I have owned it. There is a very small approximately 2" paint chip near the bezel of the drivers headlight, and a few small paint cracks where the spare tire would be mounted on the side of the truck. This is not a show truck but could be a 20K truck with just a few minor touches and a new paint job. Truck is sold as is with no warranty. Local pickup available otherwise shipping will be paid and arranged by the purchaser and a deposit of $1000.00 is required within 24 hours closing of the bid. Deposit is non-refundable. Deal must be completed within 7-days of sale or sale will be nullified without return of deposit. Title is clear with current registration in the State of Michigan. It has been driven very sparingly in the past 2 years and only during nice summer days and has been in enclosed storage at all times.
