For sale is a used silver 2003 Subaru Legacy L station wagon with all wheel drive. Car seats 5 and has a big cargo area in the rear (see pics). Comes equipped with a peppy 2.5 L engine and 5 speed manual transmission. These Legacys are super tight, fun to drive and can power through the elements! Car also sports dual sunroofs (one slides, one is static). Car was purchased about a year ago from the previous owner. The car has been well maintained and is clean inside and out. The car received a tuneup in September 2011 with new plugs and wires and has mainly been a highway driver under my ownership. The engine runs great, very quiet, with clean exhaust. Car sports Bridgestone Potenza GO19 Grid tires with decent tread left (about 3/8"). Car also has a 1 1/4" Hidden Hitch with 2" adapter as well. Things to be aware of: The air conditioning went out on the car last summer. I did have it refilled myself and it held cold air for awhile but would not maintain holding it. The sunroof leaked either along the top seal or drain tube. I had it caulked for now but it operated fine (see pics). There are minor scratches (one minor scuff at front of driver door--see pic). There is a low crack running along bottom part of windshield (see pic--below sight line and passed safety test in Missouri with it). Lastly, the car likely needs a cam seal replacement. Two shops confirmed that there is a leak behind the timing cover and the quote for repair at both shops maxed out at $500. The car does use a little oil but mostly the cam leak manifests in smelling burned oil through vents on right side when car is at idle (slight leak onto exhaust manifold). It's been running in this condition with no problems otherwise and has been a great daily commuter. Car is being sold as is and seller is listing any known defects to the best of my ability. Also car continues to be driven during this sale. Payment can be made with cash or certified cashier's check within a week of auction's close. Car recently passed Missouri Emissions and Safety inspection tests. I've loved it but need something roomier for the family. Priced to sell well under KBB!
