Custom built for today’s driving with style, performance and economy with over 55 miles to a gallon, WOW...fantastic for today’s raising gas prices (expected to raise to 4.00 by spring). Recent test shows the CRX gets better fuel economy than Toyota Prius Hybrid. Very low maintenance cost. Honda reliability and ready to go another 20 years. All the 20 year old problems are gone!! This car has been in restoration for the last year. I just finished customizing (from the ground up) this one of a kind classic, and what better car to customize (motor trend car of the year of 91 in Asia, and twice in USA). I try to take the best pictures I can but, they just don't do the car justice...must see to believe! I have lots of pictures of this restoration in all stages so, if you would like to see more pictures, I can email them to you. Rust free southern car that was factory undercoated and rust proofed. Have all books and maintenance records that were done from original owner. Owner was 89 years old. To give you an idea of the work that went into this car: The car was striped to a shell. The whole car has been completely customized from the ground up. Used a D15B7 late model civic block. The motor was completely striped down and rebuilt. All new tune up parts, belts, fluids,hoses etc. Transmission redone with all new fluids, car does have the original HF transmission. Also, all the fuel management is a HF. These two items were the main reason for the great gas mileage. I changed out the block mainly to the fact the stock HF motor was a weak one of a kind motor (weak rods and poor head design etc.) they only made this motor a few years for that reason. I still have the original HF block, I only used the later model block on this swap as it is built like a tank (Honda's long lasting high revving block)! The car does have A/C retro to the new 134a by the dealer. This one owner car was bought new right in this area. Also know the original owner personally and he is now 90 years old. Car had less than 80k on it before the restoration. Truly is a one of a kind car. Still have the original floor mats that will go with the car along with owners manuals etc. New exhaust system. All new axles and brakes. Brand new Momo chrome 16" rims with best Yokomama directional tires you can buy, 205/40/16. New kenwood CD player. There is so much stuff done to this car it would blow your mind!! This car is the best of the best and rebuilt or all new. Body was striped, body work done where needed, primer sealed and painted with a custom factory polar white base coat clear coat paint job with over 8 coats of paint. A Urethane base clear coat was then applied throughout the car, door jams, under hood and even places you don’t see. This paint is flexible to withstand cracking. Bumpers, hood moldings etc. were removed, painted than installed after body was completely painted making it better than a factory paint job. Paint was then color sanded and buff out for an incredible mirror shine finish (as shown in pictures). This custom paint job alone would cost over 6,000 at a professional shop. Interior has been completely removed, refurbished or replaced and is in mint shape. New rear strut gas shocks installed so the rear hatch opens right up and stays up without using a stick to hold it open. New emblems etc. were installed to make the car look better than new. One of the pictures is the car being reassembled, will be adding more pictures of assemble to my web site. Plenty of head room in this car even if you're 7'+ tall. I have been customizing cars for over 30 years (60’s and 70’s muscle cars). Customizing CRX’S for the last 15 plus years which I have sold locally and on eBay. The CRX is one of the classics like the muscle cars with the value of these cars going up every year.
