Vehicle Detail
I have for sale a 1964 Impala in very good condition. This car is all original with original 327 that runs great except it needs the holly carb rebuilt it has some hesitation when you step on the gas hard. The engine has headers, alum radiator, original highrise intake, holly carb, small cam (dont know what size sorry), power steering, man brakes, no ac, but heat works very well, and brand new flowmaster exhaust with 3 inch piping and tips that exit in front of the rear tires on both sides. the trans in the car is the original muncie 4 speed with hurst shifter it works great except for the trans needs a syncronizer it grinds a little from 3rd to 4th gear but clutch is good and the car never pops out of gear or anything. Car has matching set of vette wheels 18x10 inch in the rear and 17x9 inch in the front tires are about 50%. All body panels on the car are solid no apparent bondo or wrecks. The car has had a rear drivers side quarter panel replaced. The car does have some rust in the floor pans and will need fixing but its not too bad i already have the rear panel just need the fronts. Trunk is good and under the hood is good engine bay looks real good and so does the outside of the car. The paint is not perfect but will suffice. The interior is in great shape and everything works with the exception of the gas guage it works when it wants to. but all lights work and all guages even the cig lighter still works . There is a new headliner and the door panels are in good shape the carpet is good and so are the seats but they are whit and the rest of the interior is black. I drive the car all the time and it looks really good but it is NOT A SHOW CAR it does need some things and im trying to be as honest as i can. The vin number on the car says that it is an SS but Im not sure i did some reaserch and its possible that it could have been ordered to be a sleeper car which meant it had no SS interior or exterior badging but was vined as an SS because of the drivetrain and trans but im not sure there were a little over 700 cars ordered that way in 1964. The vin on the car is 41447F259202. I you know anything about this please let me know cause im interested myself. Im only selling the car becuase im having a baby soon and i have too many projects and cant afford to keep this one. It is up to the buyer to ship the vehicle. The car is for sale as is where is and will be sold with a bill of sale only i repeat a bill of sale only no tittle. Thanks for looking and good luck.
