For sale 1978 Triumph Spitfire all original, runs good but could use tuneup and some minor maintenance. The body is solid no rust holes just some surface rust as shown in pictures. It was undercoated way back when and probably saved this body which will save a lot of bodyshop work and money if a person wants to restore this car. Paint looks original, cannot tell anywhere that it has been repaired or repainted. The convertible top is old and has cracks, that is why the steel hard top is still on car.The interior could use new carpet and seat covers or drive the way it is for now. The left inside door handle is broke. The original engine does not smoke or use oil just leaks a few drops once in a while.The 4 speed transmission works good along with the clutch.Car has no radio. The muffler has a rust hole in it and is starting to sound like a race car.The car gets about 30 miles to the gallon, that is why I still drive it to work every day. I am getting older now and it is getting difficult to get in and out of this smaller sports car, that is why it is for sale. The brakes work fine, along with the lights, tires are showing some wear could use new tires down the road someday. Overall this is a solid British car to work on while you drive it or will make a good car to tear down and restore you decide. Will not sell out of US. Good luck bidding. Comes with clear IL. title .
