1964 Galaxie 500 Fastback Lightweight Clone Body: Frame on restoration of an original 352 galaxie, PPG mineral gray paint, all crites restoration parts, crites hood, inner fenders, fenders, radiator support, trunk lid, bumpers, all new rubber from Dennis Carpenter, new molding clips, new windshield, new tail light lens, new tail light housing, new auto meter gauges, new power disc brake conversion kit from Master power, new 2 inch drop springs, new rear leaf springs from Easton, new shocks, suspension rebuilt with all new parts, the underside was cleaned and undercoated and looks great, the body on this car was clean and straight when I started. Engine 514: Built from a bare block 460 30 over, bottom end built by M E M Race Engine (Midland NC), SRP pistons, Eagle Rods, custome roller camshaft (Bullet Racing Cam), ARP main stud kit, Canton deep sump oil pan, high volume oil pump, Edelbrock Performer 800 CFM carb, Edelbrock RPM heads, Edelbrock Performer Intake, Fluidamper harmonic balancer, Ford Racing valve covers, MSD 6AL ignition, MSD coil, MSD pro-billet distributor, Crane hydraulic roller liffters, Harland Sharp roller rocker arms, Howe aluminum radiator, all ARP bolts complete this motor, everyting is new from the block up, engine has not been started yet, built to run on pump gas Transmission: David Kee Toaploader 4-Speed (check out his websight to see what you are getting), 1 3/8 input, 31 spline output, wide ratio, 12"- 1 3/8x10 spline dual performance disc, 12" long style performance pressure plate, big block steel fly, Mcleod 1 3/8 throwout bearing, Lakewood bellhousing, Hurst competition plus shifter, transmission is all new and has been installed (no miles on it) Things to do: The rearend has not been touched, the interior is in great shape for its age and could be used the way it is and needs to be put back in, some trim needs to be installed (but is all there), headliner, plumbing needs to be done, I have some new Crites long tube headers but they would need some fabracation to fit, wheels and tires, pulley system for engine (never got around to getting it yet), I may be forgetting someting but most everthing is done This is a restoration I started but have failed to finish. I have too many projects and not enough time to finish them. I have only listed a small amount of what has been done and the amount of new parts. This Galaxie is going to make someone one bad car when it is finished. I really don't want to sell this car but I just don't think I am going to get around to finish it for quite some time.
