I purchased this vehicle in 2004 from Carmax in Nashville, TN. The Caprice had about 33,000 miles on it when I made the purchase and it was owned by an older gentleman. Since then I have accumulated about 64,000 miles on the car in a 9 year time span. It has been good to me but it's time to move on. The car has only had 2 owners. Current Mileage: 96,040 I added tint to the side and back window because of the warm environment in Florida. Also a Panasonic CD Player with Remote control was installed, along with new speakers in the interior (No truck installment). I still have the original factory radio and extra alloy wheels in storage in Detroit, Michigan. The Code-Alarm alarm system was deactivated because it was very sensitive and the store I purchased it from (Circuit City) is now closed. I still have ALL the original paperwork for the vehicle. The 1996 Caprice Classic manual is in the glove compartment as well. The cars body is in GREAT condition but there is some work that needs to be done. The engine may need to be replaced or adjusted because there is some knocking going on in the underbelly. It is STILL DRIVABLE but the knock is a little loud. Also the passenger side window needs to be adjusted because it's off track. And the Rear-Axle bar needs to be repair which cause the car to rock. I have been driving for 4 years with it broken but a mechanic told me he they could weld or repair it for under $100. This is a great car with light mileage and could be restore to it's former glory. There are a few nicks and dents but those are minor. Tires will need to eventually be replaced as well. have used this car for a few years and it has provided me great service. There are somethings that need to be fixed but are easy to fix if you have your own personal mechanic that does work for you.
