Up for auction is my 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS Clone. This project began with a complete "frame off" restoration. The car is virtually brand new as during the restoration every mechanical component was replaced with new parts. Powerplant is a GM 502/502HP Ram Jet crate engine with a 4L80E 4 speed electronic overdrive transmisson. Engine and transmission are both new with less than 500 miles. Included in the restoration were new floor pans and new roof skin. Bumpers are rechromed, hood is a Glasstek 5" fiberglass bolt on cowl induction hood with oem latch. Paint & body work is of the highest quality. Body lines,doorgaps,panel alignment etc. are excellent. Long hours were spent finding & fitting quality replacement parts. Most are original GM. The interior has been completely restored as well; primarily back to stock configuration with 1969 Camaro Deluxe seats, new or refurbished hardware, new carpet,dash,door panels etc. Non-stock components include a tilt steering column, Vintage Air air conditioning and modern type radio with remote CD changer and upgraded speakers. Front suspension is all new with tubular control arms, power steering & disc brakes. Rear suspension is a bolt in Ford 9" with 3.50 gears and disc brakes. Subframe connectors & Cal-Tracs help get the power to the ground. Front & rear shocks & springs are all new as well. Too many new parts to list. Come and see!! Very fast and fun to drive. Not only attractive, the Ram Jet intake adds a significant amount of function to the big-block with amazing throttle response that you just have to experience to believe. Combining our aluminum-headed 502 with a modern fuel-injected intake results in 502 horsepower and 565 lb.-ft. of neck-snapping torque.
