Always garage kept. I purchased her in 1996 from John Papasidera, the casting director behind the recent Batman movies. I've had her restored bit by bit ever since. Maybe driven 500 miles over the past 6 years. She as always been a weekend car and was only driven for less than a year between West LA and Eagle Rock for a job (2001). She's in terrific great shape, mechanically great, just a few cosmetic things to shore up. The last round of restoration (2008) was done at Tommy Chong's Hippie Motors in LA (Paint, Leather, Engine re-build, carpet, header). She is in Pasadena, CA and will be available for test drives, inspections between Feb 13-21 Basics: - 5 speed manual, put in prior to my buying- Weber racing carb installed, but I had to replace the intake grill with the normal air intake due to CA smog-check (now expired for 1974 cars) - Original British Racing Green Rebuilt/Replaced since 1996: - differential (1999) - struts, drive shafts (1999) - clutch (1999) - incredibly strong - windshield (1999) - radiator (2000) - full electrical (2002) - Engine re-build, paint, leather interior, seat springs, carpet, header, other cosmetic details (2008) Details still to fix: - Driver's door latch (takes a good pull to close) - Driver's window (catches a little going up and down) - chrome on bumpers could use a re-do, as well as new running chrome. - no AC/Heat - no AC compressor when I bought it, heat never worked, but were never needed in CA. - OD has never worked (speed and tach work great) same with Cig lighter - never had them replaced -- essentially a dash overhaul is needed for sake of perfection.
