1982 was the first year Mercedes introduced a turbo charger in the 3 liter , 5 cylinder diesel engine for the gorgeous 123 series coupe . These car already had a reputation for being super reliable and economical . Now they also had plenty of power . With the turbo charger they have good pick up and are not slow at all . You can cruise with 85-90 miles per hour all day long while still getting 27 miles per gallon of diesel .  This particular car was finished in " China Blue" ( MB color code 934 ) with light beige MB-Tex interior . This light blue with the very light interior is a rare color combination , which i have not seen on any other 300CD . The paint still shines super nice and there are no dings , dents or scratches . The body is straight . The interior is also in very nice condition for a 30 year old car , as the pictures will show .  This coupe runs wonderful . It always starts up right away and it is a pleasure to drive . I put on almost 300 miles last weekend , when we took it to San Diego and back from Los Angeles without any problems .  It is a 30 year old car , but it has been maintained well and should be a great car for somebody for many more years . With only 134k miles it actually does have very low miles . These cars are known to go for over 500k miles with the right maintenance . There are several cars on Ebay right now with this engine and 400k+ miles and still running well . This car could be a wonderful every day driver . It  would also be the perfect candidate for a Bio diesel conversion . This way you could drive it on vegetable oil or even free waste oil from restaurants . I have never tried it , but with gasoline prices , where they are today , it sounds like a great idea . I did upload many detailed pictures . But i would also be willing to help with shipping arrangements or a airport pick up . This is a wonderful 30 year old car in wonderful condition and it will be sold without a warranty  " as is " and " where is " .
