A Unique Chance to own a piece of Ford GT History! This vehicle is a pre-production PB build vehicle. All of the new GT's were made by Saleen for Ford and then transferred to Ford for the Powertrain install. Of all the pre-production GT's that were made, Saleen was able to purchase 2 of the builds for themselves (this is one of the two and was on display at their corporate headquarters for years, the second car was owned by Steve Saleen and was sold at auction a couple of years ago). This GT is listed in the Shelby Registry as the one pre-production car that was originally Gulf Blue and later changed to a two tone Silver as a demonstration vehicle for Ford 2006 GT color choices. This car is still in these latest colors and has been a display vehicle for many years. I have a lot of documentation on the pre-production nature of this vehicle, as well as a bunch of particular info on the build which will go with the car upon a successful sale. This Car has the Macintosh and Optional Wheels as per the build sheet. These cars will only increase in value over the years, and the pre-production cars (with appropriate documentation) may be the better investment? This car is in show shape.
