1970 Mercedes 250C. I bought this car approx 2 years ago on Ebay. It was listed as a rust free Arizona car with very few issues. My winning bid was $2,700.00 in addition to the shipping costs from Arizona. At first glance the car looks good but about 1 year after purchasing it I started my restoration project and then I found that their was rust on the floor in the two front corners. In addition the drivers side bumper mount was missing. I purchase the bumper mount and a bumper and was going to begin the repair but another year has passed and I have yet to start. Mechanically the car runs well but could use shocks and a tuneup. The Trans shifts well but needs a park pawl. I have invested over 4,000 but I don't have the time to complete this project. The odometer reads approx. 56,000 but the speedo is not registering mileage and the original color was dark green. I have all the interior panels. The starting Bid is 1000 with no reserve.
